Ziplock bags - you can NEVER have too many.

Permanent Markers - for writing on bags

Magnet - precious metals will not attract (gold, silver). Great way to weed out things that are fake. Sometimes heavily plated items won't attract either but this is a great way to find the obvious things that aren't real.

Scale - you can use a regular kitchen scale that measures in grams. We measure in pennyweights for our pricing, but grams can easily be converted. One gram = 0.643014 pennyweights (dwt). If you have someone who wants an approximate quote, we can do that by phone if you have a scale.
